Free & Low Cost Indoor Activities in Coeur d'Alene

Hello friends!

It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in. Fall is a very busy season for me, so keep your eyes peeled for sessions to hit the blog! In the meantime, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been eyeing the weather outside…and wondering what you’re going to do this Fall and Winter to keep your kiddos active and entertained. So here’s my top free and low cost indoor picks for the CDA area:

1) The Kroc’s “Huckleberry Hollow” Indoor Playground

It’s FREE! You don’t need a membership, you don’t need a pass, this portion of the Kroc is open to the community at no cost! A perk, the Kroc’s coffee shop is also available with a hearty selection of snacks. There’s also tables for fireside cocoa and board games, and Free WiFi. Don’t forget your socks, and make sure your kiddos is free of illness and injury. There are restrictions at Huckleberry Hollow on age and times that they’re open so follow the link for hours and specific age limits: http://www.kroccda.org/hours.html#open-hours-desktop

2) Real Life Kids “Training Grounds” Indoor Playground

This is new to our community this year, and completely FREE to the community. The playground is for kids 2-12 year of age and has a robust availability schedule (that compliments the Huckleberry Hollow schedule well!) The rules are straight forward, kiddos must be supervised by an adult and socks must be worn. No food and drink inside the play area, and of course ensure your kiddos is illness and injury free. This is at the Real Life Post Falls campus: 1860 N. Cecil Road in Post Falls.
